I want to thank each and everyone one of you who wrote to me this past year! The flow of e-mails in support of Section A and myself have truly been overwhelming and we are very grateful indeed. However between working on new projects, composing, recording, practising and teaching, my time to actually read and respond to your mails have been somewhat limited. Please accept my apology for being a bit slow to write back! I do hope that you will continue to write nonetheless and in return, I promise to do my very best to speed up things at my end :-)

I will be featured on a couple of tribute albums due out next month. I have written an instrumental song called "Beyond Compare" which I have dedicated to the late great Shawn Lane and this song will be on the album "Shawn Lane Remembered Volume 2". I have also recorded a cover version of Jimi Hendrix's "Who Knows" which will be on the tribute album "The Spirit Lives On - The Music Of Jimi Hendrix Revisited Volume 2". Both albums will be released on July the 23rd.

I am now endorsing Elixir Strings exclusively. It was actually through Carvin products that I got turned on to Elixir Strings. My first Carvin guitar, the DC727, was stringed with a set of Super Light Elixir Strings - the ones with an ulltra thin Nanoweb Coating - and I was simply blown away by the tone and durability of these strings! It's very important to me that I can rely on my strings to stay fresh for every session that I do and this has definitely been the case with these Nanoweb coated strings. I can only recommend that you go to their site and check out Elixir products for yourself. I guarantee you won't be disappointed!

Andy and I have parted ways with Andreas Lill. It was simply getting way too difficult to schedule the sessions for our new album "Parallel Lives". We wish Andreas and Vanden Plas all the best! Our new drummer is Johan Koleberg (Ex-Lion's Share). Andy, Johan and I will be getting together next week in Stockholm, to start the recording sessions. Stay tuned for further details...
